Yiping Li

Adjunct Research Professor

Dr. Li’s research interests involve limnology and ecology of aquatic ecosystems. He is interested in both empirical and numerical methods of understanding processes. His goal is to improve understanding of the quantitative influences of environmental changes on eco-hydrologic processes as well as the cause of eutrophication. He is especially interested in the hydrologic cycle and pollutant transport between land, surface water, and groundwater. His other research interests are nutrient cycling, wastewater treatment systems, and lake management. His current research focuses on the development of integrated watershed model linking hydrodynamic, water quality, and ecology.
