Charles “Pete” Peterson

Alumni Distinguished Professor, Emeritus

Dr. Peterson is an interdisciplinary conservation ecologist with expertise in both the traditional academic realm and in the policy-making world. He’s explored how sustaining and restoring natural habitats of protected shorelines such as coastal marsh and oyster reef. He retired in 2019.
