UNC Institute of Marine Sciences project to reduce Carolina's carbon footprint
Date: April 21, 2021Researchers at the UNC Institute of Marine Sciences are reducing Carolina’s carbon footprint with a blue carbon habitat, which collects and stores carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. This project is headed by Professor Antonio Rodriguez, who is working with IMS faculty members Michael Piehler, Joel Fodrie, and several graduate students.
